- Work in IT project teams.

Technical
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure issues on-premises and in the cloud.
- Perform forensic analysis of incidents.
- Perform forensic analysis of potential cyber security incidents.
- IT Infrastructure refresh and upgrades.
- Involvement in projects that require IT expertise.
Operations
- Performance, capacity, availability, and reliability planning of infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud.
- Manage and maintain monitoring system.
- Manage and maintain access and identity platforms.
- Patch management.
- Manage internet domain and certification registrations/renewals.
- Manage infrastructure security such as firewall, endpoint protection, email protection, network security, identity, group policies, mobile device management, Azure, Microsoft 365.
- Manage and monitor remote access into to the college environment whether on-premises or in the cloud.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure environment on-premises and in the cloud.
Process
- Ensure that all work follows the appropriate ANZCA methodology – e.g. change management, incident management, ITIL best practices.
- Manage delivery of all assigned technical project activities to ensure they are planned and tracked to completion.
- Assist in the development of technical processes and procedures.
- Manage the delivery of all root cause analysis reports for high severity incidents relating to IT services
- Create and maintain infrastructure documentation.
- Attend to incident and request escalations from the IT Service Desk.
- Escalate and manage incident/request escalations to external technology partners.
- Respond to severity 1 and 2 monitoring system alerts during and out of business hours.
- 3-5 years supporting enterprise technology environments.
- Strong fundamental understanding of enterprise technologies and infrastructure including Networking, Servers & Storage, cloud platforms, and virtualisation.
- Good understanding of ITIL principles and methodologies.
- Experience and knowledge of wireless concepts, switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, and the interaction between hardware, networks, data centres, and application software.
- Knowledge of Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory components, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, networks, data centres, and application software.
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft cloud services and architecture concepts such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid exchange online. Experience with private, public, and hybrid cloud solution architectures.
- Experience of Voice over IP communications.
- Experience of WSUS, SCCM, and InTune.
- Exposure to security operations processes and controls.
