Position: Remote Surveillance Operator
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time (subject to change per business need)
Salary Range: USD 800 - 1000 per month (depending on qualifications and skills)
Holidays: TBD
We are looking for a Remote Surveillance Operator to monitor the control center systems, which includes processing motion-triggered alarms and live video surveillance and escalate identified potential threats and risks to the Escalation team.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring video feeds from security cameras to detect suspicious activity, such as theft or vandalism
- Reporting any incidents to appropriate staff members
- Operating alarm systems and monitoring fire alarms to ensure that all alarms are functioning properly
- Monitoring radio frequencies for emergencies and other communications between security personnel and other departments within an organization
- Recording footage from security cameras or other surveillance devices such as motion detectors or infrared sensors
- Operating closed circuit television (CCTV) equipment used to monitor public areas or private premises such as stores, banks, or offices
- Operating computerized dispatch systems for emergency response teams to ensure rapid response times in case of an emergency
- Observing individuals in public places to determine whether they are acting suspiciously
- Operating telephone switchboards to take calls from customers or clients and direct them to the appropriate person
- Monitor live video feeds and recorded footage to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, alerting authorities and key personnel as necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents.
- Utilize surveillance equipment to track and document security breaches or other unusual events.
- Report any technical issues or malfunctions to the relevant parties for immediate resolution.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive and classified information.
- Adhere to all company security and operational procedures.
- At least one year of previous experience in security monitoring or related fields
- Proficiency with Motion Detection Software (Blue Iris, or any similar tools)
- Proficiency with Closed-Circuit Television
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with IP CCTV
- Familiarity with Cloud-Based Incident Management Software or similar
- Familiarity with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) Software or similar
- Proficiency in using surveillance software and equipment.
- Strong observation and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to make quick, accurate decisions, and follow protocols.
- Knowledge of security and privacy regulations.
