About the role:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll act as the voice of the customer to ensure that our teams continue to deliver more best-in-breed products that advance the way we pay, bank and invest. You’ll work as part of a team with a major client and must be a self- motivated, proactive, and out-of-the-box thinker.
What you will be doing:
Working on a major project with a key client you will be involved in:
Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results.
Identifying strategies as well as improvement opportunities while also reengineering processes for greater efficiency
Conducting tests to ensure changes made by programmers are correct.
Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Influences business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware/software selection and/or vendor selection.
What you will need:
At least 10 years of experience as Business Systems Analyst for software implementation or configuration projects.
Experience with Payments and Banking softwires
Sound Knowledge of the financial services industry with experience in switching and payments, including knowledge of the AS2805 or ISO8583 standards
An understanding of the end-to-end systems development life cycle
A relevant tertiary qualification in computer science or IT, or significant proven equivalent work experience
