Department Audit Services - Regulatory Validation and Liaison Role Audit Services is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced audit professional who is keen to apply their knowledge and experience in the Regulatory Validation and Liaison team. This position will report locally to the Senior Audit Manager in Manila, and functionally to an Associate Director in London. As an Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and delivery of regulatory validation approaches through engagement with all levels of management from across Audit Services, businesses and control functions. Through engagement with other team members, you will undertake the end-to-end execution of regulatory validation testing. Success is measured by the comprehensiveness of the workpapers, integrity of the assessment, quality of the regulatory validation reports, timeliness of the deliveries, and your ability to foster relationships both internally in the audit department and with key stakeholders. The key responsibilities of the role include:Accurately design and execute the testing approach and ensure that work paper documentation is clear, concise, supports the reviews performed, and explains decisions made during the projectEscalate and/or communicate with management, supporting efforts to discuss the issues raised during the reviewIdentify and analyze risks, plan and prioritize validation tasks for on-time delivery, conduct interviews, observe operations, document and analyze processes and controlsExercise responsibility over the execution of assigned regulatory validation projects and/or deliverables to ensure that work is performed timely and accuratelyDevelop and demonstrate an understanding of the business risks, controls, and processes, along with an understanding of relevant laws, regulatory rules and knowledge of the impact of systems within areas reviewedEstablish and develop strong working relationships with key stakeholdersAssist with ad hoc projects as necessary Skills / Experience The successful candidate would benefit from having:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics is preferred, but not requiredProfessional accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, ACA, ACCA) are mandatory3+ years of experience auditing in a financial institution or similar public accounting experience in the financial services industry is required Required CompetenciesSelf-starter, ability to independently work on deliverables, proactively assess issues, identify solutions and problem solving skills with attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt and respond positively in a changing and dynamic work environment as part of a Global Audit team across multiple time zones and jurisdictionsProficiency in MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel is a plus.
