Job Description

Leads the overall fulfillment of migration initiatives (Broadband, Core Data, WIreless) working closely with our Product and NTG partners.
Strives for successful customer migration, mitigating risks and fallouts to protect our existing GSR.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EFFECTIVE ORGANIZATION SERVING BUSINESS’ REQUIREMENTS:
a. Advocates the Globe Way and 10 Service Principles
b. Designs Section BSC/PPE plans aligned with the NTG Imperative
c. Evaluates, develops & endorses appropriate 3D Role Profile, promotions,
performance and succession plans
d. Establishes and sustains an effective and highly engaged Organization
e. Ensures continued competency and skills availability. Assesses and
creates Capability Build Plans and Individual Developmental Plans to
maintain a high performing team.
f. Ensures a healthy and productive collaboration & partnership with all
project stakeholders and influencers.
g. Drives resource Efficiency & Cost Savings thru Initiatives and Special
Projects
h. Manage Tools and Resources & Budget Planning, Allocation, Control and
Upkeep
i. Communicates to staff all updates, priorities and special assignments as
required through cascades or regular meetings so that work is aligned
towards priorities and objectives
j. Manages workforce productivity through regular monitoring, coaching
and counseling when necessary to determine sources of problems that
may affect output, and resolve them as quickly as possible
k. Serves as Advisor/ Co-Owner of staffs’ Individual Development Program
l. Monitors attendance on supplementary development (e.g. orientations,
On-the-job Training, Immersion, mentoring and other learning activities)

m. Participates in CSR activities that embody the Globe of Good culture.

READINESS & ABILITY TO SUPPORT BUSINESS NEEDS/ BUSINESS
CONTINUITY:

a. Support the establishment of an efficient, effective and aligned strategy
and shared end to end goals (build profile, scope, budget) addressing
Business needs.
b. Establishes and ensures overall readiness & capability to support
Business requirements (resources, skill-set, contractors, etc.).
c. Encourages innovative ways of delivering Business requirement

d. Assigns key personnel/SMEs for Business Continuity Planning/BCMS and
new tools development.


Delivers:
a. Aligned Scope/Activity/Resource, Budget., Schedule Estimates
b. Resources Availability
c. Sections’ Capability to support urgent Business needs and to
complement SCC Crisis Management Team
d. Business Continuity Plan/BCMS/ISO Certification


PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SERVICE DELIVERY:
a. Facilitating synergies with PGPD, AEPM and DRM for a more effective
High Speed CRFS strategies.
b. Advises/Participates on the establishment of Build Plans
c. Addresses Issues and Escalations and formulates mitigating measures to
address delays and stitching/CRFS declaration dependencies.
d. Ensures Submission of Reports, Scorecards.
e. Learns Business’ requirements and Impact of teams’ deliverables.
f. Collaborates with Project Stakeholders, Influencers and participates on
Cross Program and any other Wireline Related initiatives requiring
support from NSP Team.
g. Facilitates the execution of requirements for VIP, HVCs and priority
projects.

Delivers:
a. Prompt endorsement to DRM CRFS for declaration, NEW High Speed
Broadband (VDSL, FTTH and DP Augmentation).
b. Validated documents completion, NE uploading in ITNM and OSS
Stitching and correct NE placements in the OSPMS.
c. Cross Program/ Project Support: B/OSS Migration Support for FTTH and
xDSL (Project Renaissance)
d. Broadband Subscriber Provisioning Issues Resolution (Transposed, IP
Parameters) in coordination with CFS and SLI.
e. S2G Agile Broadband/FTTH participation.
f. CRFS declaration, Issues Resolutions tracking and Projects scorecards
and Dashboards.
g. Updated DSL Utilities data
h. Pain points, Weaknesses, Escalations Analysis & its resolution
i. Established support from all Influencers


TOOLS, PROCESSES/ POLICIES DEVELOPMENT & IMPROVEMENT:
a. Reviews the documentation completeness and updating and teams
readiness for Internal Audit and External Audit relative to -
ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO
20000-1:2018 IT Service Management System recertification.
b. Ensures the development and management of effective
Database/Inventory and Facility Management Systems and other tools Health Reporting, Project Management, Customer Experience etc.
(Netcracker, ITNM, WinSCP, OSPMS)
c. Collaborates with all concerned project disciplines and Governance in
developing Process Improvement Plans.
d. Schedules Periodic Review and Update of PPMs, Business Continuity
Plans and Documents; and ensures adherence of staff to company’s
Organization Process Assets.


Delivers:
a. Updated PPMs
b. CRFS Tracker
c. Broadband Issues Tracker
d. Updated BCM documents.
e. Projects Documentation, Control & Archiving


NETWORK INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:
a. Enrolment of Wireline Broadband NE to ITNM
b. Facilitate and align database updating activities (OSPMS)


Delivers:
a. Ensures enrolment and alignment of Wireline NE to ITNM based on
what’s on site and on the submitted documents.
b. Ensures stitching and alignment of ODN configurations and connections
based on as-built.

c. Validates/Compares addresses of NAP,LCP and DP location and should
match with what is reflected in the OSPMS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience
● At least 5 yrs experience in Telco/IT environment and managing people and
projects.

influencers relative to the delivery of the end to end Transport, Fixed and
Cable facility/circuit/port allocation & management, mapping and
provisioning supporting the Business targets as well as the development and
management of Productivity tools (as-built. on-line provisioning tool).
● Ability to manage risks, opportunities and interdependencies among projects
● Has an advanced technical, business and industry knowledge on
Transmission and Cable Network & Systems (PDH, SDH, IP,HDSL, Fiber NMS) and Innovations esp. on its end to end Transport, Fixed and Cable Inventory
management, mapping & provisioning, (including troubleshooting and
testing) supporting the Business targets. Comprehensive Knowledge on Fixed
Access Network and Broadband Technologies (End-to-End Fixed Network
Architecture, Fixed Access Network Logical Design and Fixed Access Network
Services Platform, VDSL and FTTH Principles)
1. Expert working level knowledge on core, access and transmission
network and principles across wired and wireless platforms and how
they interact.
2. Understanding of new and upcoming technologies and innovations
(5G, LTE, FTTx).
● Strong awareness of Globe’s Transport, Fixed and Cable network, processes
& system /resource capabilities.
● Ability to perform coordinated planning, prioritization, execution of projects
and subprojects that are tied to the client’s requirements
● Ability to direct management & responsibility for achieving the project
objectives
● Ability to optimize use of shared organizational resources
● Ability to manage client/stakeholders demand
● Ability to produce project and performance reporting and an enterprise view
of projects under its purview
