What You Will Do:
- Provide technical support for a software production processing environment.
- Install, maintain, and support application/source code and its components, including third-party software.
- Detect, diagnose, and report related problems.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors related to application failures.
- Provide technical assistance to programming staff.
- Create and maintain documentation for application software support.
- Provide 24-hour support for applications and supporting software.
- Provide consultation to internal users regarding software capabilities and use.
- Follow escalation procedures to resolve incidents, problems, or known errors.
- Use appropriate diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve incidents, problems, or known errors.
- Assist development teams in requirements definition and system design.
- Verify technical specifications for development projects.
- Act as a project liaison and advocate.
- Assist client support with communications related to incidents, problems, or known errors.
- Plan and support application-specific disaster recovery activities.
- Conduct production support validations and certifications.
- Provide operational reporting metrics to business and IT management.
- Maintain product availability, capacity, and performance according to service level agreements.
- Support application security functionality and related services.
- Participate in change management reviews and validate documentation.
- Provide on-call support and work extended hours when required.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
What You Will Bring:
- Must-have skills/experiences: Application Support/Technical Support L1 experience; Experience with client communication; Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (such as PowerShell, Batch scripting); Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Nice-to-have skills/experiences: Basic SQL and Oracle Database knowledge.
- Willingness to work: Weekdays from 7:30am to 4:30pm PHT; Shifting schedule if needed (including weekends); Hybrid setup (at least twice a week).
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant experience; College undergraduates and non-bachelor's degree holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Working knowledge of applications and utilities used by supported products.
