Position: Head of Finance
Working Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (PST) | 1 AM - 9 AM (Philippine Time)
Salary Range: $1200 - $2500 / Monthly
We are looking for a Head of Finance to join our client's team and oversee the financial operations of their company. As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the company.
About the job:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an organization's financial activities. This includes financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Head of Finance plays a strategic role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, providing insights to support decision-making, and managing financial risks. We are looking for someone to manage all invoicing as well as approve costings and create costing quotes using information provided by our subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- run the entire financial operations of the company
- run AP/AR
- be able to support financial audits
- Create costing documents for clients by plugging in COGs from outside contractors
- Approve invoices for payment after confirming costing against customer pre-quotes
- Track profitability by project
- Standard bookkeeping through quickbooks
- Break down all invoices into trackable components through internally WIP charts
REQUIREMENTS:
- highly preferred tools but not mandatory: Quickbooks, Bill.com is the biggest one as well as the G SUITE & Dropbox
- years of experience: at least 1 year
- a real do-er and problem solver
- financial modeling and financial planning skills
- lead an annual financial audit
- proficiency in GAAP accounting principles
- good communication skills in English.
