Job Title: Technical Assistant

Salary Range: $900-$1,800 USD per month

Support Shepherd is a leading tech support company that provides customer service and technical support solutions to clients worldwide. We are currently seeking a Technical Assistant to join our team. As a Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and assisting with IT-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Track and organize documents and scientific articles, likely within the Scrivener environment.
- Manage Word-compatible reference database (Endnote, Zotero or other ref manager) to facilitate writing of Investigational New Drug (IND) applications, scientific publications etc
- Track tasks and deadlines for the Chief Scientific Officer
- Review email inbox and prepare summary of tasks for the Chief Scientific Officer
- Assist in assembly of investigational new drug application, tracking progress, gaps and completion of sections
- Assist in compiling ideas for development of intellectual property, in part by converting brainstorm discussions into documents and organizing existing notes
- Basic statistics and spreadsheet analysis capabilities
- Assist with researching and writing Amplexd’s weekly series on cervical and sexual health, and preparing articles for social media publication on various topics related to HPV, women’s health, virology, oncology and public health
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in chemistry or biology, with an interest in pharmacology, preference for higher degree
- Flexible, responsive, problem-solver
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented and “on the ball”
- Good notetaker
- Proficient in scientific research and citations
- Conscientious, particularly as it relates to handling sensitive intellectual property
- Experience in medical writing and working on regulatory submissions for US FDA for pharmaceutical products or medical devices would be nice to have
- Nice to have knowledge of Scrivener and Endnote, Zotero or other reference manager
