Salary Range: $1500 - $2000 / Monthly

The client is an entrepreneur & investor in tech startups, produces content on a podcast and is looking for an experienced Finance Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, ensuring accuracy, and compliance, and providing strategic insights to drive financial success. Your primary duties will include:
Bookkeeping Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Statements Ownership: Take ownership of our Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Monthly Financial Insights: Provide monthly insights into our financial position, analyzing whether the month was positive or negative. Identify key trends and areas for improvement.
Expense Monitoring: Monitor and analyze expenses, highlighting any upward trends that require attention. Propose cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
Cash Flow Management: Proactively manage cash flow to prevent potential cash crunches. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
Inventory Monitoring: Keep a close eye on inventory levels, ensuring proper turnover and preventing overstock or stockouts. Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize inventory management.
Forecasting and Projections: Utilize your expertise to provide accurate financial forecasts and projections. Assist in the development of financial strategies to support business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CFO or advanced bookkeeping experience for e-commerce companies (minimum 2 years), with a proven track record of managing businesses that generate over $5 million in revenue.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Proficient in financial software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
