Position: Video Tutorial Editor
Work Hours (Client): 9 am to 5 pm PST, Monday to Friday
Work Hours (MNL): 1 am to 9 am MNL Time, Tuesday to Saturday
Pay Range: $900 to $1,200/month (depending on interview assessment and client's approval) Please take note that pay will be given in USD

The company exists to show people it's never too late to learn a new skill. We teach complete beginners how to crochet by combining a physical kit with emerging ed-tech tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit video content for use on our custom learning platform
- Work closely with the learning designer to ensure that video content is concise and easy to understand
- Cut, trim, and color-correct footage to match brand standards and style guides
- Utilize transitions, text, and other visual effects to enhance video content
- Manage project timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Have a keen eye for detail to watch raw content, pull out the best take, and ensure clarity of instructions
- 2+ years of experience in video editing
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong understanding of best practices for producing tutorial videos with spoken instructions
- Familiar with optimizing content for vertical orientation
- Familiar with motion graphics, visual effects, and on-screen text
- Ability to run with loosely defined brand guidelines to create succinct learning content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment in a remote capacity, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with spreadsheets to track edits and revisions
- Interest in optimizing video editing and collaboration process
- A portfolio is REQUIRED showcasing video editing work, preferably showing examples of tutorial videos, learning content, and vertical video
- Crochet experience or an interest in learning to crochet is highly desired
