The Data Management Expert (DME) service focuses on the delivery of an extensive knowledge in many data sub activities to allow the management of a full data perimeter.
Output delivered for all Service Recipients:
· Data Delivery: Proactive monitoring, incident handling and service transition, in support of the continuous data ingestion and data
consumption
· Data Governance: Define proper data ownership throughout the organization by identifying new SPOCs and implement proper new governance and action points with ownership to ensure data culture is adequalty spread
· Data Quality: Definition and creation rules for identified critical data elements in compliance with ING’s data quality framework while leveraging central HO WB capabilities/reportings
· iRisk items incl. issues and KCT for Data Management department
· Management of prioritized data quality issues to determine appropriate remediation plans
· Engagements with business units and support functions on data
consumption and data protection activities
· Compliance with internal and external data management requirements, e.g. GDPP, DM MS, BCBS 239
· Regular update of governance documentation, data inventory, data
policies & processes, quality, architecture, etc.
· Guidance provided to different business units on data protection topics and data ethical dilemnas
· Implementation of GDPP global programmes, i.e. RopA, DPIA, LIA, RCSA, etc...
