How you will contribute:
As a Cloud Security Analyst and member of the Ciena Security team, you will work with the Cloud Security Architecture and Cloud Services teams on the management of our Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) platform. In this role, you will be actively managing day-to-day operations of our CNAPP tooling and collaborating with cloud environment owners and other stakeholders. This will include tasks like:
Onboarding individuals and teams to the platform and ensuring they have appropriate roles
Onboarding cloud accounts to the platform and placing them in the correct projects
Policy tuning, development, and change management activities
Identifying operations suitable for automation
Validating and applying approved policy exceptions
Dashboard creation
Validating that cloud environments are configured to meet our administrative baselines
Generating reports and metrics for the platform
Other duties as assigned
Must haves:
Experience managing a CNAPP platform
Experience configuring security in one or more of the following Cloud Service Provider platforms:
AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
Associate's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or another related technical field
Assets:
Experience with Terraform
Experience with CIS Benchmarks and Standards
Experience with scripting languages
Cloud or Cybersecurity proficiency certifications (examples: CISSP, CCSK, other "Cloud" Practitioner type certifications)
Good communications skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to learn new concepts quickly
Ability to follow change management procedures
