Responsibilities:
- Focus on automation regression testing of Web based applications, including API/UI automation and mobile App automation
- Review and provide feedback on test case requirements.
- Proactively communicate with product owner, developers, QA, and database engineers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
- Design/maintain automation test cases for a full regression of all applications
- Develop/execute automation regression test cases against different test environments
- Identify, investigate, report and track issues to closure
- Work with NA/China/Manila development/QA teams closely to ensure quality of products
- Ensure defined software quality assurance procedures are being followed
- Coach manual QA on individual feature automation, increase their understanding and ability to contribute to automation coverage
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in software automation testing
- Knowledge of software testing, including QA process and QA methodologies
- Good working knowledge of scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, JS.
- Good working knowledge of SQL of Database (SQL Server/MySQL).
- Good working knowledge of common operation system (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Good working knowledge of test tool such as Selenium.
- Good working knowledge of automation test framework (e.g. TestNG, Cucumber)
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing
- Self-starter with ability to work either independently or as a team member
- Passionate about QA automation
- Team work, have initiative, take ownership, be a quick learner
- Experience in Agile/Scrum project is preferred
