LOOKING FOR FILIPINO CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE PHILIPPINES

Position                   : Remote Personal Assistant

Working Hours       : Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Centra time (overlapping and semi flexi to Ph time zone)

Salary Range           : $800 - $1,000/ month

Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for downloading and organizing account statements from approximately forty (40) accounts. These statements will need to be downloaded from the correct internet location, renamed according to institution, account, and date, and placed together in a .ZIP file to send to an accounting firm. The statements will be downloaded and forwarded to a centralized email address once a week. The same .ZIP files will also be saved to a secure Dropbox location once a week.
  • The candidate will add information to an Excel spreadsheet regarding account balances on Day 1 and account balances on Day 30. We can discuss the need for a spreadsheet to summarize this information; however, some Excel experience will be necessary.
  • The candidate will download and file the appropriate claims information for medical insurance purposes. This will primarily consist of downloading Explanation of Benefits (“EOBs”) from an insurance company. The EOBs will be arranged by family member and there will be a summary Excel spreadsheet associated with the total medical expenses to date. 
  • The candidate will be responsible for confirming all appointments for an upcoming week. There will be a calendar sent to the candidate on Monday morning by 9:00 AM (CDT) (UTC – 5:00), and the candidate will need to either call, email, or text the location to confirm the appointment remains booked. The candidate will email or text once the appointment has been confirmed.
  • I have made an unusual request for baseball statistics. I am an avid fan of baseball and play fantasy baseball during the season (April – September). The candidate will help manage the fantasy baseball teams by downloading box scores and player information daily. I will provide all necessary training associated with how to manage a fantasy baseball team and update the statistics daily.
  • In addition, I would like for the candidate to offer advice and opinions on additional work for the candidate to accomplish. I have certain ideas – like management of monthly expenses and invoices – and coordinating schedules for service providers; however, I would like for the candidate to offer me ideas on how to spend the additional time each week.
  • 1-2 years of experience being an Admin or Personal Assistant
  • Has experience with Accounting tools such as Quickbooks, Quicken, Xero, etc.,
  • Has extensive experience in managing calendars and appointments
  • Has good verbal and written communication skills
  • Values integrity and confidentiality in highest regard
  • Adhoc task such as hotel book, restaurant reservation, purchasing concert tickets, tallying results of a fantasy football games etc
