TRANSPORTATION ANALYST
Support plant logistics in timely freight payment and resolve payment exceptions. Run TMS global freight analysis, monthly reports and monitor carrier performance. Participate in global RFP analysis and facilitate implementation. Responsible for TMS user training and TMS master data maintenance.
About the job:
- Produce transportation reports to track main KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), cost analysis, lead times performance, shipment delivery reliability, highlight deviation to targets, and consolidate opportunities for improvement.
- Provide transportation market analysis and cost projections.
- RFP analysis for determination of best offer and ensure the proper implementation.
- Monitoring of on-time freight payment, including billing reconciliation, TMS error reporting resolution, and assistance with accurate freight end-of-the-month financial accruals.
- Participate in saving project analysis & implementation, and maintain global freight rates template within SAP TMS.
About you:
- Education: College degree in Supply Chain Mgt, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management
- 1-2 years of Transportation/ Logistics/ Supply Chain experience
- Experience in freight billing auditing, data analysis, and knowledge of transportation/ logistics
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PPT, etc
- Strong communication skills
- Detail orientated
- SAP experience preferred
