Inventory Analyst

Job Scope:

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing the flow of finished goods and supplies to and from warehouse of Layer Farm, Rearing Farm, Satellite Warehouse, and Offsite Farm. Ensures accuracy of inventory and the maintaining inventory levels, makes necessary analysis and reports per product and customer or channel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

FINISHED GOODS

1. Checks and reviews finished goods inventory produced for the day and matches with order, dispatch before doing system transaction.
2. Ensures that FG Reclass and Issuance is properly recorded including Transfers
3. Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisor  for possible lacking,unproduced or unserved orders before executing system transactions.
4. Responds to inquiries regarding products and inventories.
5. Checks actual items and quantities for dispatch.
6. Update Inventory Records based on items and quantities dispatched.
7. Help validate that products for preparation and staging are matched with label vs actual.
8. Works with Warehouse and Production  in monitoring of aging, slow/non-moving products and provides reports regularly for immediate disposition.
9. Analyze transformation or reclass yield.
10. Monitor and ensure excess were physically returned, with updated label and recorded on Inventory files
11. Checks non-conforming products and prepares condemnation of products and specifies reasons and explanation for the condemned items.
12. Checks physical condition of finished goods and ensures conformance to storage and handling standards.
13. Review and verify dispatch report from all sites
14. Maintain and publish served and unserved reports and works with Warehouse Supervisor  and planning the recovery plan.
15. Update and transact condemn items per QA and site Manager disposition.
16. Provides reports on non-conformance and improvements to immediate superior.
17. Ensures compliance to food safety and quality standards set by HACCP, GMP & ISO.

SUPPLIES

1. Checks and reviews supplies inventory before doing system transactions.
2. Checks actual items and quantities inventory.
3. Works with Warehouse and Production in monitoring of supplies.
4. Updates Slow/Non Moving items Monitoring and replenishment of the items.

GENERAL

1. Address system variance  concern, validate and update system accordingly.
2. Ensures accuracy of on-hand inventories against system records & escalates issues related to inventory shortages and discrepancies; Initiates investigation to ensure accuracy and completeness of FG Inventory, Supplies and Spares records.
3. Join and help perform periodic physical inventory.
4. Performs other related activities that may be assigned by immediate superior.

FOOD SAFETY:

1. Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
2. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

OTHER TASKS:

1. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility,  risk management etc. 
2. Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
