About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team. As a Marketing Manager at Support Shepherd, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new clients. You will work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and create compelling marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of digital marketing channels. Should understand the dynamics of organic (earned media) and paid media (CPM, CTR, CPC, AOV, ROAS etc), and be able to execute strategies that align with brand goals. Responsibilities:
- Determine brand guidelines & solidify brand identity
- Collaborate with founder to oversee entire website building process & make sure website aligns with overall brand identity
- Decide on all website & amazon creative assets and work with freelancers and/or creative agencies to have them created (find appropriate graphic & video designers within budget to work on projects)
- Design amazon store and update amazon listing creative assets in coherence with brand identity
- Create new amazon listings' creative assets. Coordinate with internal amazon listing specialist for copyrighting and listing creation
- Develop and execute paid & unpaid integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, acquisition, and customer retention
- Determine & Coordinate affiliates (and influencers) to grow brand awareness and revenue.
- Develop monthly social media calendar, Coordinate with social media agency for all content creation & grow social media audience on all major channels
- Prepare, monitor & update marketing budget on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly & yearly). Determine KPIs & provide regular reporting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify opportunities for brand growth and adaptation
- 2 years experience working with an US based D2C startup. Has overseen the launch of a D2C brand (has been involved with the brand within the first couple years of launch).
- Experience in creating brand guidelines. Developing and executing a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and vision.
- Experience strategizing brand storytelling and key brand messaging.
- Experience strategizing a robust media mix of videos and images, copyrighting, photography, and UGC. Has experience working with creative agencies and can provide brief for creatives (images, video production, 3d renders)
- Experience working with influencers & affiliates. Knows how to utilize influencer audiences to build brand trust. Can provide briefs and follow up on engagement from influencer posts, reals & stories. Can determine relative KPIs
- Knows about organic growth strategies:
- SEO on google
- get customers to post & engage organically with the brand to reach new customers
- Creating PR strategies to utilize bloggers, editors, magazines & newsletters.
- Experience running paid ads on google & social media channels and/or managing outsourced performance marketing agencies.
- Experience strategizing ad creatives & copy. To develop systems & processes for A/B testing & analyzing results.
- Ability to analyze & report performance marketing metrics such as CPM, CTR, CPC, AOV, ROAS etc. Determine KPIs & report using Google sheets (or use data analytics software)
- Experience using email/sms marketing software such as Klaviyo. Can create flows & analyze KPIs
