Your Responsibilities

As our local HR Lead in the biggest location of our fast-growing, client-centric organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business in ensuring a positive experience for our employees. Reporting to the Chief People Officer in Zurich, Switzerland, and as the sparring partner for the local General Manager in Manila, the local colleagues, as well as the international and local HR Team, this role requires an experienced HR leader with a good business acumen, excellent managerial skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of the local market while aligning with the strategies set by the global company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining the company's reputation in the region and fostering a positive company culture.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage overall HR work, develop local as well as implement international HR strategies and programs aligned with the company's global objectives; provide HR insights to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to line managers, provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as address employee concerns, conflicts, and inquiries, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate internationally, liaise with the international HR team in Switzerland, Canada and Germany to ensure alignment on global HR initiatives.
  • Regularly participate in virtual meetings and contribute to the development and execution of international HR policies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal as well as external stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the local HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with local financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and reporting in the Philippines, as well as uphold company policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and provide guidance to the organization to mitigate legal risks.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, fostering transparency and alignment with corporate goals.
